FashionTech Interline. The virtual dimension of fashion design

The digital course focuses on the field of FashionTech aiming to advance students’ knowledge on how digitalization and virtualization of the design process affect the entire value chain management, including concept development and prototyping, production, supply chain operations and business model innovation, for faster, smarter, more efficient and sustainable garments.
50 students were selected from Politecnico di Milano - School of Design (Italy), Hogskolan i Boras - Swedish School of Textiles (Sweden), University of the Arts London – London College of Fashion (UK), TU/Delft - Industrial Design Engineering Faculty (The Netherlands), École supérieure des Technologies industrielles avancées – Graduate School of Advanced Industrial Technologies (France).
This learning experience is part of the activities of the FTalliance project, a three-year (2020 – 2022) Knowledge Alliance Project co-founded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and aimed to facilitate the exchange and flow of knowledge within the Fashion-Tech sector to boost students’ employability and innovation potential.
