Riviera is a project settled in the Mediterranean scenario, talking about each of its paradoxes and contradictions. The definition of a specific place would be reductive: Riviera dresses with summer night’s glances, with not given kisses in a balera facing the sea, it lives in a decontextualized classicism reinterpreted through a pop filter. Riviera is a journey, a guide to introspection and discovery our fears, our desire to scream, and our understanding through the mirror. The Mediterranean means sensuality, a place where aged people can show themselves naked on the beach, as in an old postcard, it means a young woman waddling by the pool. Riviera is a sea’s foreshortening through the cliffs of the coast.
