The Research Doctorate (Ph.D.) constitutes the highest level of education in the university system. Its goal is to prepare researchers who have the skills and aptitude to pursue activities of high quality research in industries, research centers, public administrations and academic institutions. The Ph.D program, organized by the Department Indaco, aims at providing advanced training in research, both academical and professional. The research developed within the PhD is intended to provide the scientific community with an original contribution to knowledge of industrial and technological culture, visions, and to propose innovative approaches to both theory and practice of research in industrial design and multimedia communication.
Access to the Doctoral Programs is selective, based on the verification of the research capacities and potentials by curriculum examination. The Research Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree is awarded at the completion of the Program, which lasts at least three years.
