POLI.design is a Consortium of the Politecnico di Milano operating in the field of design acting as an interface between universities, companies, and professional organizations, institutions and bodies. It develops training programmes for young graduates and professionals, as well as training programmes for companies that are closely focussed on innovation. Time span than can change from course to course. Access to courses is open and subject to a curricular selection; the Advanced Vocational Courses do not issue University Formative Credits.

The specialization course in Luxury Goods Licensing examinates the essential variables used to activate and manage a licensing processes of the top range analyzing the increasingly relations between Brand Extension, Contract and Merchandising activities. The proposed training lets embrace the necessary issues useful to deal with the Licensing Manager profession through every phase of the cycle: designing, production, communication and distribution. Licensing Manager not only deals with designing and formal and technological aspect of a product, but also the chance to extend its own brand in other product sectors or markets.
The Knitwear Design specialization course has the purpose of forming specialists in knitting for fashion, who are distinguished by the ability to use manual techniques and specific machinery. The course aims to provide the attendees practical and creative skills in order to design and create the knit and its applications through the different teaching modules that make up the course. The modules are targeted to specific knowledges such as the use of basic and plus knitting machineries and the fluency in the crochet technique. Cross lectures will allow the attendees to learn to know yarns and fabrics with their specific properties and applicable techniques.
